IV Sedation
Here at Hutt Dental Implant Centre, we offer IV Sedation for all of our surgery appointments, which will be included in our pricing. In our Centre, we have an experienced GP who visits and administers IV sedation. This type of sedation, which is delivered through the bloodstream, takes effect rapidly and leaves you feeling completely relaxed. You will be able to breathe normally and answer your dentist’s inquiries or requests throughout the session, but once the sedation wears off, you will be incredibly peaceful and have little to no recall of the treatment.
Your dentist, along with our seditionist will carefully go through your medical history before the procedure. They are also happy to go over any queries that you may have.
IV Sedation, also referred to as “sleep dentistry” is recommended for patients undergoing implant surgery to take away any anxiety about the procedure that you may have and leave you feeling relaxed.
